There has been training of two Program Officers on Gender and Women's rights by Uganda Women's Network during September 2017. It equipped them with skills to train trainers for women's economic empowerment.

The International World Widows Day is marked every 23rd of June. This year, Ruth Fund marked the day at their Offices. The Widows vowed to get up and live again in dignity.
